A Second Autumn Showcase

My bloggerversary is coming up this month, and one of the first posts I published was a showcase of Autumnal eye-candy from Felt.co.nz. So I thought I'd do another one, almost a year later.
The range and 'interestingness' of Felt's selection has grown in the past year, and I was delighted by some of the items that I found, and the beautiful photography.

NARBELETH
$28.00
Ladybirds In Autumn: flame-coloured leaf earrings with green ladybugs
$25.00
Autumn Glory
$100.00
Extreme Length Crochet Arm Warmers in GREEN
$26.00
Shortcircle Skirt in Olive and Orange - Donated by Marian Smale
$25.00
an autumn morning - 8x8" whimsical fine art photograph
$28.00
autumn leaf chain necklace
$35.00
NEW run.cutie Autumn Orange Studs
$15.00

One of my designs is in there – I couldn't resist including it, since it fits so well with the theme and the colour scheme of the showcase. Some of the items that appeared when I searched for 'Autumn' I recognised from last year's showcase! I avoided including these, with one exception: bonus points if you can pick it.

Thank you and merry Christmas!

I've just put this notice into all of my online shops: "Please note: I will be away from 22 December to 30 December. I will attend to all messages and purchases when I return. Merry Christmas!"

I'm taking a break from blogging and Twitter, too.

Below is one of my favourite necklaces from the old Silverlight Jewellery branding. I love it because it is so simple, and also because I named it 'Arigato' – 'thank you' in Japanese. Such a simple, beautiful sentiment seemed to suit a simple, beautiful necklace. Since the necklace no longer fits with my new branding, I recently gave it away to a friend of mine as a gift for his wife, in return for some bottles of home-brewed mead that he had given me – so it was a trade, really, rather than a gift; but I felt grateful as I gave it to him.
It felt right to give 'Arigato' as a thank-you gift.

'Arigato' – abstract, Japanese-inspired pendant on satiny black cord.

Thank you, blog readers, customers, suppliers, and friends, for an amazing 2010.
Here's wishing you all a fun, peaceful Christmas and an exciting, joyful new year.

Feature on Jilly's blog

Jilly, a fellow Zibbet seller and owner of the Zibbet shop 'Jilly's Stuff', is featuring assorted Zibbet sellers on her blog - and today it was my turn!
This is the first time I have been featured on a blog, and I am thrilled about it.

I want to add a picture here, so this is my favourite thing from Jilly's shop:

I love the detail of this wee crocheted pincushion. The stump is only about 55mm tall. How neat would it look on someone's sewing table?
